Brief

For the setting up of a fund for renewable energy projects our clients wanted to emphasize how new thinking was essential in dealing with the growing need for safe energy.

 

Solution

In the film a traditional story is used to highlight this, successfully engaging the audience in the concept of thinking “outside of the box”.

 

"A farmer tested his three sons by giving them a shilling each with which to fill a large barn. The oldest son bought hay and only covered a fraction of the space the middle son bought straw, but the youngest bought a candle and lighting it filled the whole barn with light."

 

Plants that produce energy on a renewable basis were sourced and aerial and regular shoots were carried out in Germany Norway, Spain and the US in co-operation with international crews and combined with graphic manipulation and 3d design.

Brief

To harness the association of Mauritius as a paradise island in the mind of the general public and connect with the strategic location of the island as a stop over between major business hubs in India, South East Asia, China and Australia, travelling to Europe and the USA.

 

Solution

As the film was targeting a German audience documentary footage (vox pops) was shot among the people frequenting Frankfurt airport getting the expected responses – “paradise island, turquoise water, heavenly beaches” etc.

 

Another focal point was the idea that travel as such contains a special quality of excitement that kicks in long before the destination is reached.

 

To transmit this idea green screen shooting provided the necessary material to create fantasy shots, like people sunbathing on the wings of the plane and playing racket ball on the fuselage.

 

Specific animated graphics were created to illuminate the point of present global economic development, with new hub airports in the Middle East playing a major role in flight connections.

Brief

The high profile property our clients wanted to promote was a building in the City of London. The focus was on the specific commercial viability of the location. Also the cutting edge construction work in combining a listed exterior with ultra modern office interiors.

 

Solution

The resulting film Uses graphics and historical artwork to show how the City has been a place of business for 2 millennia.

 

The idea of the Romans making “the first investment” in the City of London had proved to pay off. Linking this to the current building the investment could be described as follows; an old as well as established pattern of success.

 

Architectural drawings were animated to illustrate the transformation of the building.

 

Stunning majestic tracking shots were taken to display the opulent interior spaces.

 

Linking back to listed parts of the interior that have been preserved the banquet hall shows the combination of the antique with the new in sequences emphasising the Victorian craftsmanship.

 

Another element important to link to the prospect of the investment is the given role that London as a city has in the world today as a centre of tourism, entertainment and business.
